Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anna Marie
graduated from Towson University in Baltimore with a B.A. in Theatre
and English. Favorite collegiate performances include Pearl in Phyllis
Nagy's adaptation of The Scarlet Letter, Rosemary in How to Succeed
in Business Without Really Trying, and singing the National Anthem at
her graduation ceremony.
Since leaving Baltimore, Anna Marie has lived and worked in and
around the Washington, DC area and performed across the country with
5 different touring companies. She joined Actors' Equity in 2007 and,
after originating the role of Ellen in the world premiere of Shadow of
the Raven at Wayside Theatre, she moved to New York City.
Currently, she resides in Brooklyn, spending her time auditioning, working with several NYC art studios,
taking dance classes at the Broadway Dance Center, and studying voice with Carolann Page. Other interests
include reading, art history, yoga, crochet/knitting/needlepoint, writing actual letters, and learning to cook. Many
