Born and raised outside of Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, Anna Marie graduated from Towson
University in Baltimore with a B.A. in Theatre and English. Favorite collegiate performances
include Pearl in Phyllis Nagy's adaptation of The Scarlet Letter, Rosemary in How to Succeed in
Business Without Really Trying, and singing the National Anthem at her graduation ceremony.
After college, Anna Marie worked in and around the Washington, DC area. She also traveled across
the country, performing on 5 different tours. After originating the role of Ellen in the world
premiere of Shadow of the Raven at Wayside Theatre, she moved to New York City.
She currently resides in Brooklyn, spending her time auditioning, modeling, and rehearsing. She's
been performing with off-off-Broadway companies, originated a role in a new musical, and, most
recently, Anna Marie helped to found The Seeing Place Theater. She's learned alot about
producing, marketing, and managing nonprofit theater, and feels very lucky to have been part of
such a talented, ambitious group of artists. She is now stretching into the world of film, excited to
apply her onstage technique to the intimate world of working in front of a camera.
Other interests include reading, yoga, writing actual letters, spending time in Central Park or the
Brooklyn Beaches (with SPF 50), and learning to cook. She is extremely grateful to her incredibly
supportive friends & family.
